Current enrolled students who are applying to in-state universities, colleges, and technical colleges request transcripts via www.GAFutures.org. Once a student makes a request through GA Futures, a counselor will review and fulfill the request electronically. After the counselor fulfills the request, the transcript is delivered to the post-secondary school the student has authorized to receive that transcript. The GA Futures account should also be used by students who need transcripts sent to the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association). In addition, district students interested in a dual enrollment opportunity may also use this process. This service is free of charge.
Graduating Seniors Transcript Information Final transcripts for seniors (early to mid-June) will be sent to in-state schools through the GA Futures transcript request process. A senior must request the final transcript for in-state schools using his/her GA Futures account to request that the final transcript is "fulfilled" by his/her school counselor.
Any transcript questions/issues should be addressed by the student with the school counselor.
HOPE Transcripts HOPE transcripts are available for all district students within 30 days of the close of each semester after transcript history is posted to district transcripts. The HOPE transcript is accessed through the student's GA Futures account. Students and parents/guardians should continually monitor the HOPE GPA throughout high school. A graduating senior needs to be certain that the final HOPE GPA is accessible in late June.
Veryimportant: The district student information system must have the student's correct social security number and legal name. In addition, the student must have this information accurate in their GA Futures account to access the HOPE GPA. The student must also have him/herself linked to the correct high school in their account. The student cannot have multiple GA Futures accounts.
